Bonding
Bonding is a cosmetic procedure that uses tooth-colored materials that are bonded, or attached, to the tooth surface. If your teeth are chipped, broken, cracked or badly stained, bonding is a likely treatment option. Bonding materials are generally resin-based and are adhered to the teeth. The teeth are prepared with an etching solution and the bonding material is applied, contoured and hardened using a special light or chemical process. The bonded tooth is then smoothed and polished. Bonding can usually be performed in one appointment.
